Hello, everyone:
I just want to remind you that though the deadline of posting "Learning subject" materials is at the end of September, the related discussion on the blog will continue until 10/3.
And there is a problem in this project and I need your suggestion.
That is the Time Limitation.
Recently I know many of you meet your students once a week.
If we want them to share intercultural materials and to discuss on blog, I don't know whether there is enough time to do these two things both.
Is that ok for you or do we need to skip the topic "Lunch"?
Please tell me what you think
Thank you:)

This is the place where we can discuss the details about the project "A day in my school" and also share some useful software which can be used in the blog!

Ling and Everyone,
I plan to send off some photos, clips, and schedules this week.
I am flexible with the schedule, but feel it is reasonable.
My students have access to the blog on my classroom website. Some families and students have already been curious. I will offer more exposure to my families and students on Monday when we have a Back-To-School-Night with the families. I will further promote and educate the families about this program at that time. Ideally, I would like to get my students to independently become interested and send in some POSTS themselves. However, until thy do, I will make them myself.

I agree with Greg! I think the schedule is going to be fine once we get going. Right now, as I'm sure everyone is feeling the beginning of school there is just so much going on. Once things get into that lull and routine it will be much better. I'm splitting up the next two projects between my classes. One class will work on a lunch project and the other will work on the Outdoor Activities project so that will greatly reduce any issues I have.

To Greg and Carrie:
Thanks for your comments, and I really appreciate that.
So the project will still go on according to the preset schedule.
There is another thing that I want to share with you.
Recently I read an essay. It said that sometimes "missed communication" happens in the long distant communication project.
Students will ignore some questions from their partners, avert joint development of topics and instead pay attention to accomplishing their "assignment."
That makes me keep in mind that we teachers can help students to develop discussion by reminding them to reply some questions from their international partners or teaching them how to ask questions.
That is what I plan to do next week.
That might be interesting I'll tell you what I think then.
