The loading problem

Hello, everyone
Thanks for your sharing.
We are so happy to see your videos and that help us understand you more!
But I find a problem: The loading speed is too low.

My students told they have to wait for several mins to watch each movie.
So far the only solution I can think of is that maybe it would be better if teachers play the videos first and then show them to students.(The movie will go smooth for the second time)
I am planing to create a place for you where you can upload and download the videos.

Do you have any other ideas?

Having a place to upload and download the videos would be great! I haven't been having any trouble on this end with streaming the videos, however I don't have my students view them independently. I show them to the whole class all at once.

Are you having trouble with the videos that are embedding from outside sources such as the One True Media ones? (Brisbane, Georgia) or just the ones I have posted using the Blogger Player? Perhaps if there is a online Media Player that has better streaming capability we could all use that to upload and share videos on?

But then again streaming can only happen as fast as your network will allow it. The more students you have streaming, the slower it goes. Our students aren't allowed to download items off the internet, however, I can download and put them in my Handout Folder for students to view. Having downloadable options may be the only choice to get around streaming.

Hi Carrie
Thank you for the suggestion.
I think the problem may be caused by our School internet speed.
We have the same troubles with all the videos on the blog.
So I think it's not the problem of One true media or blogger.

I'll let you know as soon as I have the place for uploading and downloading videos.

Hi Ling and Company,

I noticed today that I'm unable to show Blogger videos on our school system during the school day. I'm going to be talking to our IT department and hopefully I can get it fixed. If not the available downloads would be very helpful so that I can show my students the videos during the school day without troubles.
