Hello, everyone
I'm trying to record how we work on the project every week so that you can know how our work is in progress.
9/2
Today during the lunch break I discussed with my students about the articles what Andrea has written for my students.
Though they've read the articles in summer vacation, they still enjoy when I read the articles again.
My students were very excited when I introduced Carrie's and Greg's countries and schools to them , and explained what they are supposed to do for the first topic.
This Friday they will discuss what subject they want to present to you. But they seem to prefer the Physical education class, instead of the Chinese class I thought.
9/5
My students said they have different opinions about what subjects they wanted to present to their international partners. Girls want to present Chinese class while boys prefer sports.
But finally they decided to present the subjects both. Next week they videotape how their classes go and scan the cover pages of their textbooks and then present them with slides.
Besides, they will do survey to their classmates about what subjects are their favorite.
They seem to have plan about what to do for next week but I find I'm in a little flurry. When I work with my students, I had to assist their discussion and fix their computer problems at the same time, which made me more nervous ( and cut my finger = =) and therefore the process of discussion didn't go quite well(some discussion details are neglected ).
I think i should do more preparation like writing down what need to be discussed on the board.
Hopefully next week I can really follow my plan.

This is the place where we can discuss the details about the project "A day in my school" and also share some useful software which can be used in the blog!

Hey there Ling,
I hope my video hello message from my kids works as a quick introduction. Because I only have my kids for an hour there is only so much I can get done in a week. This week, I plan on having students write a podcast about themselves and load our daily schedule for you. Also we will be making a video that tells about our technology instruction class that my students are in during the next few weeks. Let me know if I'm missing out on anything or you would like me to do more or less than I'm doing.

Hi Ling,
Thanks a lot for letting us know how you are developing your work at school and sharing the feelings of your students.
We are having various preparatory meetings at "San Filippo" these days (until Friday 12 September) and I am describing our cooperation to various colleagues, also in Perugia when I am e-tuor for a methodology trainng course. We are a virtual team of teachers who discuss, plan and work together with their fantastic students. Thanks Ling and everybody for what you are doing.
Yesterday evening I watched the blog and I found the added audio tool: it's a great idea that enrich the blog so much. Congratulations for this great idea!
Carrie, I watched your video yesterday morning at school with Roberta, a colleague that is new this year in our team. It brings inspiration to us when we notice your students working with their laptop at the desk.
I would be interested too in having your and Greg's ICT plan or one of your work schemes.
Thanks for all these inspirations!
Andrea
To Carrie and Andrea
Carrie, I can understand your time limitation. Just take your time and help students to take the chance to express themselves with your avalable tools.
And my student love your computer class after they watch your video!
They will give comments on your video next week.
As for the podcast part, I think we will hear your audio files.
So if possible, would you mind adding the text script along with your audio file because our students' reading ability is much better than their listening ability.
Andrea, thank for your support.
I'll keep record our progress.
Hopefully that will help you and your students. And I also expect to see more information about you, your colleagues and your students.
